Recent Work
My family history is that of three generations of steel workers. Although my constructed pieces are considerably smaller in scale from that of a 48" I-beam, I feel connected to my ancestors through my work. My creative process is an exercise in experiencing and focusing within my environment, drawing, expanding my skill and calling upon the words of CJ Jung, "Be simple and always take the next step..." My goal is to create on a more spontaneous level, reflecting my awe of nature, and respecting the materials I've chosen.
